People will drive for show and putt for health care next week.
The Health Services Foundation of the South Shore hosts its Hit it for Health golf tournament at noon on July 5 at Osprey Ridge.
Teams and individuals will be raising money for a new mammography reporting system.
Development Officer, Alison Clements, says there is space still available for anyone interested.
"You do not need to be a pro at all, it is for all skill levels because we're all here to raise money and support our local health care system."
Clements says they're looking to raise $20,000 for the new reporting system and support the diagnostic imaging department at South Shore Regional Hospital.
She says they still have space for two teams for the Texas scramble event and anyone interested can contact her at (902) 543-4604 ext 2543 or by emailing her at [email protected] .
This is the 19th year for the tournament.
