Blood collection services in Barrington is still housed in a temporary location.
It was moved out of the No Frills building on June 14 after staff noticed a strong odour.
Environmental assessments and testing have been ongoing since then.
Blood collection services has been located in the office of Argyle-Barrington MLA Chris d'Entremont.
He tells Acadia News the Nova Scotia Health Authority isn't providing much information.
"From what we understand, they (NSHA) haven't made a decision on the existing site and therefore are still temporarily in our office. They're very welcome here but people deserve to know what's going on."
Health authority spokesperson Fraser Mooney tells our newsroom that their priority is the safety of the staff and public.
He says collection services at the No Frills building will resume as soon as possible.
